CRYSTEK MAXIMIZES PERFORMANCE AND EFFICIENCY IN NEW 5800 MHz COAXIAL RESONATOR OSCILLATOR (CRO)

Fort Myers, FL - June 18, 2010 - Crystek's new CVCO55CXT-5800-5800 Coaxial Resonator Oscillator (CRO) employs frequency doubling, 2X fundamental technology to reach new performance levels of low phase noise and harmonics, while minimizing current consumption in the process.

The CVCO55CXT-5800-5800 operates at 5800 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0.5 Vdc to 4.5 Vdc. This coaxial VCO features a typical phase noise of -100 dBc/Hz @ 10KHz offset and has excellent linearity. Engineered and manufactured in the USA, the model CVCO55CXT-5800-5800 is packaged in the industry-standard 0.5-in. x 0.5-in. SMD package.

CVCO55CXT-5800-5800 CRO exhibits an output power of +3 dBm typ. into a 50 ohm load with a supply of +8.0 Vdc and a typical current consumption of 35 mA. Pulling and Pushing are both minimized to 1.0 MHz and 3.0 MHz/V, respectively. Second harmonic suppression is -30 dBc typical.

The CVCO55CXT-5800-5800 is ideal for use in applications such as digital radio equipment, fixed wireless access, satellite communications systems, and base stations.
