CRYSTEK LAUNCHES NEW 245.760 MHz SAW CLOCK OSCILLATOR (CCSO)

Fort Myers, FL, August 22, 2013 - Crystek Crystals announces the release of a 245.760 MHz SAW Clock Oscillator (in single frequency band), the CCSO-914X-245.760. Crystek designed the module using proprietary circuitry and SAW (surface acoustic wave) resonator technology to provide ultra-low jitter / phase noise performance with true sine wave output. The resulting oscillator features -150 dBc/Hz phase noise at 10 kHz offset and a typical noise floor of -170 dBc/Hz.

Crystek's CCSO-914X-245.760 comes in a 9 x 14 mm SMT package. With 3.3 V and 5 V input voltage available, it generates a true sine wave with +8 dBm minimum output power. The new CCSO has no sub-harmonics; second harmonic is -20 dBc typical. The CCSO-914X-245.760 operates from -40°C to +85°C.

Applications include: analog-to-digital (A/D) converters, system clocks for network clock generators / synchronizers, clocks for DDS, test and measurement, avionics, point-to-point radios, and multi-point radios.
