Fort Myers, FL, October 2003 - Crystek Crystals Corporation has launched a new line of Voltage Controlled Oscillators (VCOs). Crystek's new VCO line initially comprises three industry standard packages with additional packages being added by 1Q04.
Crystek VCOs are ideal for use in applications such as digital radio equipment, fixed wireless access, satellite communications systems, base stations, personal communications systems, portable radios, and test instruments.
Frequency range of the VCO line is from 50 MHz to 3.5 GHz in bands. Crystek VCOs offer low harmonic suppression and low phase noise - to -115dBc/Hz. Wide bandwidths (doubling of frequency) and extended operating temperatures (-40ºC~+85ºC) are available. Customized specs are also available to meet specific requirements. The three available packages are:
CVCO55 - Frequency range: 50 MHz to 3500 MHz; Dimensions: 0.500 x 0.500 x 0.140 in. (12.70 x 12.70 x 3.60 mm); Pricing: $11.00 ~ $18.00 each in 1K piece quantities. CVCO45 - Frequency range, 50 MHz to 2000 MHz; Dimensions: 0.400 x 0.496 x 0.165 in. (10.16 x 12.60 x 4.20 mm); Pricing: $7.50 ~ $10.00 each in 1K piece quantities. CVCO33 - Frequency range, 50 MHz to 2000 MHz; Dimensions: 0.300 x 0.300 x 0.079 in. (7.62 x 7.62 x 2.00 mm); Pricing: $8.00 ~ $11.00 each in 1K piece quantities.
