CRYSTEK MAXIMIZES PERFORMANCE AND EFFICIENCY IN NEW COAXIAL RESONATOR OSCILLATOR (CRO)

Fort Myers, FL, November 21, 2008 - Crystek?s new CVCO55CXT-6250-6250 Coaxial Resonator Oscillator (CRO) employs frequency doubling, 2X fundamental technology to reach new performance levels of lower phase noise and much lower harmonics over the competition, while achieving lower current consumption in the process.

The CVCO55CXT-6250-6250 operates at 6250 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0.5 Vdc to 4.5 Vdc. This coaxial VCO features a typical phase noise of -100 dBc/Hz @ 10KHz offset and has good inearity.

The CVCO55CXT-6250-6250 CRO exhibits an output power of 0.0 dBm typ. into a 50 ohm load with a supply of +8.0 Vdc and a typical current consumption of 25 mA. Pushing and Pulling are both minimized to 1.5 MHz/V and 0.5 MHz, respectively. Second harmonic suppression is -30 dBc typical. The CRO is packaged in the industry-standard 0.5-in x 0.5-in package.

The CVCO55CXT-6250-6250 is ideal for use in applications such as digital radio equipment, fixed wireless access, satellite communications systems, and base stations.
